How To Create An Auction Key

Why do I need an Auction Key?
When you want to buy items from online auctions, you need to give out a special keyed e-mail address. This way you can eliminate the possibility that your other frequently used keyed e-mail addresses will be passed to spammers. You will maintain total control over your Inbox since you are able to change the key in your address book and stop spam.

Step 1
Click on New Key.

Step 2
Type in the name of your auction key in the Key Name field, such as "Auctionkey".
ZoEmail will automatically generate a random key for you. In this example, the randomly generated key is "veggies61232".

*Notice the e-mail address to be given out will be johndoe.veggies61232@zoemail.net
You may either keep this randomly generated key and proceed to Step 4 or customize it by going to Step 3.

Step 3
Type in a word that you would like to be the custom key in the Key field. In this example, we choose to call the key "onlineauction1".
*Notice the e-mail address to be given out will be johndoe.onlineauction1@zoemail.net

**Key is not case sensitive, and must be a minimum of five characters.

Step 4
Click on Save Key.

You are done!
You will be brought to the address book, where your newly created key is listed. To edit this key, click on it under the "Key" column.
