How To Delete An Email Folder

When you think you no longer need a folder, you can delete it completely. It is quicker to delete the folder and its contents as one unit than to delete each message, one at a time.

Step 1
Click on the Folders pull-down menu, which is on the main task bar, and select Manage Folders...

Step 2
Check the box of the folder that you want to delete. In this example, we will select the folder named "Alaska trip photo 2004".

Step 3
Click on the Choose Action pull-down menu and select Delete Folder(s).

Step 4
Click on OK to delete this folder.

Step 5
Click OK again to confirm that you want to delete this folder. When you delete this folder, all of its content will be deleted .

You are done!
You will be brought to your folder list, which no longer shows the name of your deleted folder.
