How To Create A Key For Friends and Family

Creating a specific key for friends and family gives you another way of taking control of your Inbox. If someone shares your keyed e-mail address and you get Spam, all you need to do is change the key for this group in your address book. Knowing which key is being used to receive the spam allows you to simply change one key instead of your entire e-mail address. It will also make it easy for you to remember what key to give out for friends and family.

Step 1
Click on New Key.

Step 2
Type in the name of your friends and family key in the Key Name field, such as "ForFriends".
ZoEmail will automatically generate a random key for you. In this example, the randomly generated key is "rhinos14642".

*Notice the e-mail address to be given out will be johndoe.rhinos14642@zoemail.net
You may either keep this randomly generated key and proceed to Step 4 or customize it by going to Step 3.

Step 3
Type in a word that you would like to be the custom key in the Key field. In this example, we choose to call the key "FriendsOnly123".

*Notice the e-mail address to be given out will be johndoe.friendsonly123@zoemail.net

**Key is not case sensitive, and must be a minimum of five characters.

Step 4
Click on Save Key.

You are done!
You will be brought to the address book, where your newly created key is listed. To edit this key, click on it under the "Key" column.
